Pilau Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Basmati rice
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh grated ginger
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Pulao masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Place rice in cooking pot. Stir in olive oil to coat rice.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, masala, cumin, turmeric and salt. Stir until well blended.
  3. Add water to 2 line in cooking pot.
  4. Cover and cook. Serve with Chicken Curry.

Serves: 6-8
