
Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc., a leading marketer of small household and commercial appliances, has an immediate opening for a Windows/Storage Administrator at its headquarters office in Richmond, Virginia.
This position is responsible for Windows server administration for a MS Windows, Linux, iSeries, and SAN server environment. Off hour and weekend scheduling is part of the position, though a modified first shift is primary.
The basic qualifications of the position include: 1) a minimum of two years experience in systems administration and technical support of Windows 2003 server technologies; 2) demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical issues in Windows 2003 server and related technologies; 3) a 4-year degree in Information Technology or related field; and 4) a minimum of three years of full-time experience in information systems or other computer related fields. Experience with storage area networks, iSeries systems management, Active Directory and/or backup systems a plus.
The successful candidate will have a high energy level, strong work ethic, and excellent technical, interpersonal and communication skills, along with demonstrated ability to work independently and use good judgment. Local candidates highly preferred
