The Hamilton Beach® OpenStation™ multi-opener is more than just a can opener. It combines three easy-to-use tools for six ways to open packaging, including difficult-to-open, hard-plastic (clamshell) containers.

With the OpenStation™ multi-opener, consumers no longer need to dig through the utensil drawer to find a tool to open the wide variety of packaging they are faced with.

An April 2007 survey conducted by SPSS online asked 250 respondents what items they thought were most difficult to open. The OpenStation™ multi-opener is designed to open most of the top 10 items cited including: plastic packaging (#1); jar lids (#3); bottle caps (#6); pop-top soup cans (#7); and twist-off caps (#9).

The OpenStation™ multi-opener can:
  • Remove jar lids easily with the comfortable and flexible jar opener.
  • Take care of pop-top cans, glass and plastic bottle caps and hard-plastic, clamshell packaging with the OpenMate™ multi-tool.
  • Open traditional cans the first time, every time, with the SureCut™ electric can opener technology.
The OpenMate™ multi-tool and jar opener attach to the can opener so consumers have one convenient place to open all their packages.

Can Opener - The base unit of the OpenStation™ is a state-of-the-art can opener with SureCut™ technology that opens cans on the first try.

OpenMate™ Multi-tool - This handy tool opens four "hard-to-get-into" product packages; hard-plastic packages, glass bottle caps, plastic bottles lids and pop-top soup cans. The OpenMate™ multi-tool stores conveniently on the base of the can opener.

Jar Opener - Uses grip-and-grab technology to open jar lids of all sizes with ease. The jar opener stores on the top of the can opener.
