- 5 Serrano chiles (available in cans – use fewer chiles for a less “hot” salsa)
- 1 (28oz) can tomatillos (green tomatoes) OR 2 (11oz) cans – no salt added
- 1 clove minced garlic
- Juice of 1 lime
- ½ cup fresh cilantro
- 1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
Directions:
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place all ingredients in blender except cilantro and avocado. Blend at medium speed until smooth.
2. Add cilantro and avocado. Pulse several times until JUST incorporated.
TEST KITCHEN TIP:
Place avocados in a brown paper bag to help them ripen more quickly.
