Vanilla Chai Iced Tea

Ingredients:

Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product:  Iced Coffee/Tea Maker
  • 2  cups boiling water
  • 5 tea bags
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Pour boiling water over tea bags in a heat-proof pitcher. Steep for 5 minutes; remove tea bags.
  2. Stir in confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon and ground allspice into hot tea until well blended. Add 3 cups ice cubes.
  3. Insert frother attachment into milk frother; pour milk to MAX frothing attachment line. Top with lid.
  4. Place pitcher on base. Press ON/OFF button three times (solid blue light will circle button). The milk frother will shut off automatically.
  5. Slowly pour milk into pitcher. Pour mixture into glasses and spoon froth on top.
