Watermelon Lemonade

Watermelon Lemonade


Simple Sugar Syrup:
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 cups (about 2 lbs) seedless watermelon, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 cups Simple Sugar Syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon wedges


  1. To make Simple Sugar Syrup, bring water and sugar to boil in medium saucepan over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until cold.
  2. Place watermelon pieces, Simple Sugar Syrup and lemon juice in blender jar.
  3. Blend on HIGH until smooth.
  4. Fill tall glasses with ice. Pour Watermelon Lemonade over ice and garnish glasses with lemon wedges.
