Wursts and Sauerkraut

Ingredients:

Yield: About 5 quarts
  • 4 cans (1 lb. each) sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 bottle (12 oz.) beer
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb. smoked bratwurst
  • 1 lb. knockwurst
  • 1 lb. cheddarwurst
  • 1 lb. kielbasa

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients, except the wursts, in the crock. Stir well.
  2. Add the meat and stir.
  3. Cover and cook on preferred setting: Low - 6 to 8 hours, High - 3 hours
