We are seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Business Development Manager opportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia.  This individual will be responsible for leading and supporting various CBD responsibilities to drive growth at B&M and Ecommerce retailers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review internal research data and external data sources to create and present impactful presentations to sell new products and programs to key customers
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to define channel and customer-specific strategies aimed at maximizing placement of new product platforms
  • Manage the customer P&L, pursuing pricing approvals where required for strategic accounts
  • Control and expedite the flow of information between customers, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that critical business decisions are made on-time
  • Support Customer Business Development Team on development of merchandising vehicles and with analysis used for internal strategic planning

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Sales Management or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Channel Management / Business Development
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills are required
  • Proven ability to understand, set, and change priorities to reflect customer requirements 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google
  • A history of working effectively in a team environment 
  • E-commerce experience a plus

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, work successfully in a collaborative environment and possess a dedicated drive to produce results. Being highly organized and flexible with the ability to multi-task and prioritize will be imperative to success in this fast-paced department.
