Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc., has an immediate opening for an Associate Account Manager opportunity to support our company’s Walmart business.  The position is located at our Bentonville, Arkansas office and is part of our dynamic Walmart Sales team.  The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for driving the profitable sales and shipment of Hamilton Beach products through Walmart and Walmart.com. The position will also provide insights and data analytics support for the varying functions of the Walmart sales team office. 

Core responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Walmart.com buying team, as well as the HBB and Walmart product development and replenishment teams
  • Daily management of sales activities for assigned categories and routes to market
  • Sales reporting: Generate, organize, and interpret sales data to support cross functional teams
  • Work with various HBB teams to contribute to  accurate production forecasts
  • Manage/organize the Walmart claims review process
  • Some travel required

Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct to retail sales
  • Relationship management skills
  • Previous experience which demonstrates strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of brick & mortar and e-commerce sales processes
  • Proficiency with Walmart supplier applications including RetailLink and syndicated data (NPD, Nielsen, S-IRI, etc.)
  • Demonstrated abilities with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Proven abilities in presentation and negotiating skills
  • Experience with General Merchandise/Hardlines, preferred
  • Working history with Walmart Product Development Team, preferred
