We have an immediate opening for a Digital Marketing Specialist opportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia. As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. you will be a collaborative team player and strive to increase reach, interaction, conversion, and engagement of our consumer brands in the digital world. Drive brand growth through the implementation of cohesive and integrated content, marketing, and website strategies in support of key business objectives.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Use marketing technology to maintain current marketing programs and identify opportunities to leverage technology to optimize workflow
  • Proactively manage digital marketing campaigns and projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and implement B2C marketing and promotional strategies across multiple channels, including social, brand websites, email, and others
  • Use social media to connect with consumers to build brand equity, drive website traffic, and increase sales
  • Contribute to an excellent consumer experience by helping update/test website content, links, and navigation paths
  • Implement and maintain SEO best practices, including content development, to support channel growth
  • Execute targeted email, list growth strategies, maintenance, segmentation, and analysis
  • Prepare and share reports, monitor and track trends, and incorporate data into larger integrated marketing and ecommerce recaps


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field.
  • 3+ years digital marketing experience with proven experience developing, implementing and measuring multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience working with a publishing plan and inbound marketing
  • Experience executing and analyzing drip marketing campaigns and online marketing programs
  • Experience working within Social Networks such as Facebook, Instagram , Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube
  • Strong listening, writing and communication skills with the ability to think objectively
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Experience evaluating the needs of the consumer market
  • Highly detail oriented with organizational and time management skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while quickly shifting priorities according to business needs
  • Hubspot, Google Analytics, HTML, and/or MODX experience preferred
  • Experience managing PPC and Display Advertising Campaigns preferred
  • A/B and multivariate testing experience preferred
  • Experience in ecommerce and affiliate marketing preferred

The successful candidate must be a dedicated, creative, results driven self-starter with a strong work ethic and must have demonstrated the ability to work independently and use good judgment. The ability to respond to critical online needs and emergency situations on a 24/7/365 basis is required.
