We are seeking qualified candidates for a Director, Sales - Walmart opportunity at our sales team office in Bentonville, Arkansas.  The Director, Sales – Walmart is responsible for delivering sales revenue and standard margin through strategic sales planning and execution and through the careful management of operational and customer support functions in the Bentonville sales team office.

Responsibilities of the position include: 

  • Deliver the annual sales revenue and standard margin quotas for Walmart
  • Present HBB products in a manner that is consistent with established brand objectives
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel at Walmart
  • Synthesize actions from the analytical outputs of the demand planner, associate account manager and operations specialist roles
  • Lead and develop the cross-functional team members in the office
  • Coordinate the involvement of company resources, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis

Requirements of the position include: 

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred; MBA is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Channel Management/Business Development; Housewares industry and/or Walmart experience preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in P&L, budget, and people management
  • Strong team leadership, influencing, presentation, negotiation, analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, set and change priorities to reflect customer requirements
  • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel, up to 10%

The successful candidate will have proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team focused environment and be able to support multiple tasks with simultaneous priorities. He or she must be a dedicated, creative, results driven self-starter with a strong work ethic and people/task management skill.
