Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc., has an immediate opening for our position of eCommerce Account Manager, Amazon to drive sales and margin of our products through  The position will be located in the Seattle area. 

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Deliver sales, share and profitability targets for four Hamilton Beach brands, which account for half of all Amazon business ($40M+ annually).  Brands include Hamilton Beach, Hamilton Beach Professional, Proctor-Silex, and Wolf Gourmet.  This person will have direct responsibility for key categories including Hot Beverage, Blending/Juicing, Food Processors and all emerging product categories
  • Drive overall FBA strategy for all brands including SKU recommendations/deletions to FBA Store
  • Using expert knowledge on Amazon’s Vendor Central and Premium Analytics database, analyze Amazon sales, forecast and promotions; provide weekly reports on POS/COGS sales, invoice sales, forecast adjustment recommendations and promotions analysis
  • Root-cause any variance in weekly, monthly and yearly trends week to week as outlined in weekly BLUF doc.  (Bottom Line Up Front)  
  • Manage Amazon online item catalog content and item set-up
  • Develop relationships and work closely with Amazon SVSs, VMs and/or MVMs to drive topline and develop creative solutions to profitability challenges
  • Proactively run P&Ls and analyze price compression to predict where items may become problems and drive to resolve with CBD.
  • Analyze Amazon’s digital shelf and competitors, making recommendations to Sr. Director, CBD and Product Managers where there are gaps in assortment or opportunities to gain share in categories/brands managed
  • Work with vendor managers on MAP violations/enforcement to mitigate lost sales due to enforcements
  • Establish a weekly process with supply chain to deep dive PO rejections and forecast for key items, minimizing revenue leakage
  • Collaborate with external and internal partners on Amazon advertising strategy to align advertising with promotions, brand and share objectives
  • Plan, evaluate and execute category specific marketing campaigns and programs.  i.e. Holiday Gift Guide, Prime Now, Born to Run
  • Coordinate HBB PR and social media efforts with Amazon activities
  • Launch new products by setting up items, executing vines and creating A+ pages

The basic qualifications of the position include: 

  • A 4-year degree in Marketing, Business or Sales Management or a related field or relevant experience, MBA preferred
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in eCommerce Sales and Marketing.
  • At least 3 years Amazon account management experience required.  Ex-Amazon employee a plus
  • At least 2 years experience managing a high volume Amazon FBA account
  • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Comfortable working with and understanding large sets of data and Amazon metrics
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills
  • Microsoft Excel super user
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.
