Green Pepper Relish

Ingredients:

Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product:  Juice Extractors

  • 8 green peppers, seeded
  • 3 medium onions, peeled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt

Directions:

  1. Process peppers and onions in juice extractor.
  2. Combine juices and pulps in saucepan. Bring to boiling point. Drain.
  3. Add remaining ingredients; mix.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook 10 minutes.
  5. Pack jars and seal.

Serves:  Makes 3 pints.
