Cheddar Baked Hash Browns

Ingredients

Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product:  Roaster Ovens

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 bag (2 lbs.) frozen hash browns, totally thawed
  • 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese (2 cups)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small onion, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat Roaster Oven to 350°F.
  2. Pour melted butter into 2-quart casserole dish. Tilt dish to coat bottom and sides.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and pour into casserole dish. Place dish on insert rack in roaster oven and bake for 45 minutes.


Serves: 8-10

Success Tip:
Thaw frozen hash browns in the bag in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours or overnight.


Substitution:
Instead of mushroom soup, the same size can of cream of potato soup may be used.
