Cinnamon Raisin Bread for 2-lb. Loaf Bread Maker

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons nonfat dry milk
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons butter or vegetable oil
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except raisins in the breadmaker pan in order listed.
  2. Choose Cycle 5 for Sweet Bread, 2 pound loaf for size of bread and light for crust color. Press Start. Add raisins at the Add Ingredient signal. Breadmaker will beep 10 times about 30 minutes after the cycle begins. When done, remove bread from breadmaker and carefully remove kneading paddle from bottom of loaf.
  3. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing with a bread knife.
