Italian Parmesan Bread for 1.5-lb. Loaf Breadmaker

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1 Tablespoons sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried, crushed basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried, crushed oregano
  • 3 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in the breadmaker pan in order listed.
  2. Choose Cycle 1 for Basic Bread, 1.5 pound loaf for size of bread and medium for crust color. Press Start. When done, remove bread from breadmaker and carefully remove kneading paddle from bottom of loaf.
  3. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing with a bread knife.
