Ingredients

  • 6 rice measuring cups steel cut oats
  • Water
  • 2 cups sweetened dried cranberries
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped apples or 1 package (5 oz.) dried apples, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Topping suggestions: brown sugar, maple syrup, chopped toasted nuts, cream or milk

Directions

  1. Place steel cut oats in multi cooker. Fill to 10-cup line with water.
  2. Stir in cranberries, apples, cinnamon and salt.
  3. Cover and set multi cooker to HOT CEREAL or WHOLE GRAIN for 75 minutes.
  4. Stir and serve with desired toppings.

Serves: 20
