Pressure Cooker Easiest Ever Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¾ cup beef broth
  • 3 pounds baby back ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce, divided

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Rub mixture over the ribs. Cut rack into 4 pieces.
  2. Remove lid of pressure cooker. Add beef broth and ribs. Pour ½ cup of the barbecue sauce over the top of the ribs.
  3. Place lid on pressure cooker, turn lid to lock and move steam release valve to closed position.
  4. Press MEAT/STEW mode and adjust cooking time to 30 minutes.
  5. When cooking has finished, allow a natural pressure release.
  6. Remove lid of pressure cooker. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Remove ribs from pressure cooker and place on foil-lined baking pan.
  7. Heat oven to broil. Broil ribs 2 to 3 minutes or until ribs begin to brown. Brush ribs with remaining sauce.

Serves: 4

Test Kitchen Tip: If using MANUAL mode, select HIGH pressure and set for 30minutes. When finished cooking, allow a natural pressure release.
